Two fatal crashes in Waushara Co. in 24 hours

UPDATE: The name of the driver who was killed in the second crash on Thursday is 32-year-old Ronald R. Kutzleb II of Neshkoro. This crash is still under investigation.

WAUSHARA COUNTY- The name of person who died Wednesday afternoon in a vehicle crash in Wild Rose has been released.

74-year-old Michael Wess of West Allis was driving his van when he collided with a semi on Highway 22 and County Highway P north of Wild Rose.

The driver of the semi, 52-year-old Thomas VanCleve was transported to Wild Rose Community Hospital.

Within a 24-hour time period, police responded to two vehicle crashes in Waushara County.

The second crash occurred Thursday at 2:26 a.m. on County Road EE near the intersection with Cumberland Road. First responders found a car stuck in a guardrail and a bridge abutment. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
