Chicken Parmesan


1 package pasta
5 boneless chicken breasts
5 slices reduced fat provolone cheese
3 cups tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup white onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, diced
1 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tsp worcestershire
1 Tbsp steak sauce
1/2 tsp sweet basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp fennel
1/2 tsp raw sugar
salt and pepper


Cook pasta and set aside. Cook chicken and set aside. Place pasta in bottom of a 9 x 11 baking dish. Place chicken breasts on top of pasta. Top each breast with a slice of cheese. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake chicken parmesan, covered, at 375 degrees for 20 minutes and uncovered for 5.
