OSHKOSH – The Oshkosh Garden Club invited the community to take a walk Sunday morning.
Six locations around the area opened up their gardens to visitors for the club’s annual garden walk.
People could check out beautiful koi ponds, tranquil waterfalls and unique ways of incorporating fruit trees and plants.
Organizers say the walk provides more than just ideas for your own garden.
“Because it’s a wonderful thing. You go back to nature and its just a nice day to walk around and just take a look and just feel good about things, really,” said Oshkosh Garden Club event chair Lynne Slat.
This is the sixth year for the walk. All of the proceeds go to the club to help with community projects.
