TOWN OF NEKIMI – After a muddy start to Country USA, festival goers will finally be able to park on-site.
Beginning Thursday afternoon, staff will direct people to the usable parking areas.
This comes after three people, who were walking along the road near the festival grounds, were hit and injured by a pickup truck Tuesday evening.
Police say pedestrian traffic is up this year because more people are parking off-site because of the mud at the Country USA grounds.
Event organizers say those driving recklessly and damaging the grounds will have everyone’s bands or tickets in the vehicle confiscated.
Parking is $15 per vehicle.
Thursday’s music line-up includes Gary Allan, Chris Young, Brett Eldredge, and Frankie Ballard.
