Making summer reading fun for kids

The Appleton Public Library has plenty of summer reading programs for kids of all ages.  From babies and toddlers all the way up to high school students, there’s something for everyone.

Programs are based on “every child ready to read”, an American Library Association research-based initiative.  It’s designed to help parents and caregivers develop early literacy skills in children.

There are weekly incentives to get kids to practice reading over the summer months.
