Savour Green Bay kicks off

GREEN BAY – A little food, a little fun, and a dash of creativity. The Adams Street parking lot is the place to be this weekend to get a taste of all Green Bay has to offer.

The fourth annual Savour Green Bay event kicked off at 4 p.m. Friday.

Tasty creations from more than a dozen restaurants are available. There are free cooking demonstrations.

Organizers also say the event is also a great way to learn how to enhance your food with the proper beverage.

“It’s a really neat experience for people to talk to the brewmasters as well as the winemakers and really find out why a particular brew or wine goes well with a certain food and it’s just a great culinary experience,” said Tina Quigley, executive director of Mosaic Arts. Inc.

Festivities continue until 11 Friday night with an after-dinner concert. It also continues Saturday.
