Two injured in Fond du Lac County crash

TOWN OF BYRON – Two people are in the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Highway 41 near County Highway B in the Town of Byron.

Sheriff’s officials say the driver, a 21-year-old Lomira man, lost control of his vehicle and rolled it several times. The man was ejected and airlifted by Flight For Life to Theda Clark Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition.

Authorities had to free the passenger, a 22-year-old North Fond du Lac woman, who was pinned under the vehicle. She was brought to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

A portion of the highway where the crash happened was closed for more than seven hours.
