GREEN BAY – Thousands of people will take to the streets of Green Bay and Allouez Saturday for one of the largest 10K races in the nation, the Bellin Run.
The run will enter its 38th year Saturday, once again inspiring many of any age to get fit and live healthy lives.
About 17,000 people have registered for this year’s race, which is down from the record 20,000 last year.
Organizers also say they could use about 100 more volunteers on race day.
FOX 11′s Pauleen Le spent the morning at Astor Park and at the race’s starting line to check in on final preparations. She also caught up with Eugene Le Boeuf of Milwaukee whom at the age of 90 is one of the oldest, if not the oldest participants in the race. She also talked to this year’s winner of the Boston Marathon, Meb Keflezighi, who will take part in this year’s run for the first time.
