APPLETON – One of the most popular musicals of all time, is back in the area.
The Phantom of the Opera is now playing at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in downtown Appleton. The show runs through June 22.
Cast and crew members gave FOX 11 a behind the scenes tour on Thursday. They showed off costumes and props including the largest prop in the show, a massive chandelier.
One of the cast members, Jacquelynne Fontaine who plays the character Carlotta says its a great show.
“We’re all excited about this project and we all genuinely care about each other, its really nice,” Fontaine said. “It’s my first time in Wisconsin and it’s the first time Phantom’s been here in ten years so you can feel the excitement.”
