Oshkosh veteran receives new Trackchair

PLYMOUTH – A veteran from Oshkosh was given a gift on Thursday, a new set of wheels.

Troy Worden received an Action Trackchair in the town of Plymouth.

He tested out the $10,000 chair on everything from hills to crushing branches.

Worden developed multiple sclerosis while serving for the Army.

He says getting the chair was easier than he thought.

“They showed me the ins and outs of the Trackchair,” Worden said. “They showed me the way to get one through the independence fund and that’s pretty much how all this came together.”

The donation of the chair was made through the Independence Fund. The fund tries to make life easier for wounded veterans.
