TOWN OF MENASHA – $1.4 million in renovations to the Town of Menasha’s Fritsch Park are nearly complete, just in time for summer.
Crews started on upgrades to the park in May 2013.
Visitors can now enjoy a major face-lift to the park’s pavilion and a new warming shelter for winter ice skating. Adult fitness equipment and a new playground have been added to the park. The tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts are now color-coated and striped, and the long-standing drainage problem has also been addressed.
The park is open everyday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
FOX 11’s Pauleen Le spent the morning at the park to check out the improvements.
