GREEN BAY – Packers Family Night is back, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 2. Tickets go on sale June 23 at 9 a.m. for $10.
The format for the night will change a little bit from years past. The players’ participation will be structured more like a traditional practice rather than the full contact inter-squad scrimmage they have done in the past.
The practice will still include 11-on-11 live contact drills, along with various practice elements.
The other family favorite attractions of Family Night are back as well, with the Chili’s “Jersey Off Our Backs” promotion, giving the jerseys worn by the players to members of the crowd.
Also returning, the very popular Copps-Pick ‘n Save Fireworks, closing the evening’s events with a bang.
In-stadium activities will begin at 5:30 p.m., and FOX 11 will be broadcasting the event for the 14th year, hosted by Drew Smith and the FOX 11 staff. It will also be broadcast on fox11online.com as well as a network of stations across Wisconsin.
Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy joined FOX 11 Sports Director Drew Smith on Good Day Wisconsin with more on the announcement.
