ALLOUEZ – The Greater Green Bay YMCA in Allouez is holding a Water Safety Day Tuesday.
Organizers hope the event raises awareness around the issue and helps reduce drowning among children. People can learn about swimming lessons offered for both adults and children as well as learn about lifejackets and boat safety skills.
The event runs from 5:30 – 7:15 p.m. and is free and open to the community.
FOX 11’s Pauleen Le spent the morning at the Y to learn more about it.
