GREEN BAY – Howe Elementary School in Green Bay is taking steps to get students excited about eating their fruits and vegetables.
The school is holding a kick-off event Monday evening to introduce students and their families about the school’s new and improved garden. Kids can let their creativity flow with fruit and veggie painting activities, taste different kinds of fruits and vegetables and learn how to garden.
Organizers hope the event will help students develop a better appreciation of where their food comes from.
FOX 11’s Pauleen Le spent the morning learning more about the event.
