(GREEN BAY) After three years with the Green Bay Gamblers, head coach Derek Lalonde may be moving on.
According to a report from hockey website “the Blade”, Lalonde will be announced as the Toledo Walleye head coach tomorrow.
The Gamblers are owned by PMI group, and a spokesman from the group would not confirm the report that Lalonde would be leaving Green Bay.
The Gamblers have a history of turning over head coaches, and will have their fourth head coach in just six years next year if Lalonde is headed east.
Lalonde made the playoffs all three seasons in Green Bay, winning the Anderson and Clark Cups his first year with the team.
