MANITOWOC – A woman arrested for breaking in to a building on a golf course near Kaukauna has been linked to seven more burglaries in Manitowoc County.

The 26-year-old was arrested Thursday. Outagamie County officials say she was trying to run away from a building at Countryside Golf Club in the town of Buchanan when the owner of the golf course ran her down and kept her from getting away.

On Friday, Manitowoc County authorities announced they had connected the woman along with a 25-year-old man to burglaries in their area. Both of the suspects are from Whitelaw.

The seven burglaries happened between April 27 and May 21 at Timeout and Knox’s Silver Valley in Manitowoc, Ripley’s in Whitelaw, Spudz and Seven Lakes golf course in Cato, Branch Rivers Edge in Branch and Great Escape in Valders.

Neither suspect has been formally charged in the case.
