APPLETON – Some of the most valuable prized possessions are the ones that are passed down from generation to generation.
May is National Preservation Month.
The history Museum at the Castle is having a special event to teach people how to keep these items in mint condition to keep the tradition going.
The preserving family heirlooms event is on Thursday from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
FOX 11’s Pauleen spent the morning the museum’s curator to learn some tips on how to preserve items including family photos, wedding dresses, birth certificates, personal letters, silver and dishes.
