APPLETON – Appleton laid out its schedule of summer events Thursday.
That includes the return of concerts at Houdini Plaza. Those kick off June 5.
Art on the Town and the city’s popular farm market are also returning.
City leaders say the goal is to attract people and their money to the downtown area.
“What it does, is it helps people stay a little bit longer. When they stay a little bit longer they spend a little bit more. And they might go into that coffee shop or they might spend a little bit more with that farmer so it really does help to impact the economic impact as well,” said Jennifer Stephany, Appleton Downtown, Inc.
The downtown free trolley service is also returning.
