DE PERE — Brevin Pritzl has enjoyed a great start to his AAU basketball season and colleges are noticing.
The De Pere junior shooting guard has received 13 scholarhsip offers, including one from Wisconsin on Tuesday. This comes on the heels of scoring 41 and 37 points, respectively, in a recent tournament.
“Definitely a big offer,” said Pritzl, who averaged 20.9 points per game last season. “They made it to the Final Four which is really something special and they have Frank and Sam coming back next year which is really going to catapult them further. It’s really cool getting an offer form a Big Ten school.”
Pritzl recently visited Michigan and Thursday will visit Marquette. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Marquette offered Pritzl as the Golden Eagles are the only in-state school yet to offer him.
Wednesday Pritzl listed the teams which have offered: UW-Green Bay, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Toledo, Drake, South Dakota State, North Dakota State, Lehigh, Xavier, Bucknell, Davidson and Creighton.
Pritzl said he’s not close to deciding where he will play college basketball. He said he just wants to end up at a school, play basketball and get a good education.
