CLINTONVILLE – City Administrator Lisa Kotter has been suspended with pay for five days pending an investigation into alleged misconduct, according to city attorney April Dunlavy.
Dunlavy would not further define the allegations.
Kotter issued this statement to FOX 11: “I have always conducted myself ethically and will continue to work for the betterment of Clintonville when I return to work. I will cooperate fully with any investigators.”
She also declined to define the allegations.
The city council voted unanimously Tuesday night to spend up to $10,000 on outside counsel to handle the investigation. It is expected to be completed within the five days of the suspension, Dunlavy said.
The city council would then review the findings, but such a meeting has not been scheduled.
