Sour Cream Coffee Cake


Filling & Topping:

2 tsp Cinnamon

3/4 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Raisins

1/2 cup Chopped walnuts

*Divide in 2 parts

For Cake:

1 cup Butter

1 cup granulated Sugar

3 Eggs

1 tsp Vanilla

1 cup Sour Cream

2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour

2 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp Baking soda

1/2 tsp Salt

 

Cream butter & sugar, add eggs one at a time beat well after each addition. Add vanilla & sour cream. When well blended, fold in sifted dry ingredients. Turn 1/2 the batter into a 9×13 greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with 1 part(1/2) of the spice & brown sugar mix. Cover with the remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining sugar & raisin mix.

Bake in 350° to 375°for 1/2 hour to 45 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
