GB council delay vote on homeless daytime center

Proposed daytime resource center

GREEN BAY – Green Bay’s city council voted to delay a decision on a proposed daytime resource center for the homeless.

It would be called New Visions.

It’s proposed for the office of an empty warehouse on Adams Street, near the Mason Street bridge.

The council also delayed a vote on the issue two weeks ago.

Council members say they want to wait for a neighborhood meeting on the issue, scheduled for April 23, before taking a vote.
