Boston Marathon tribute run/walk set for Green Bay

GREEN BAY – An event paying tribute to the Boston Marathon bombing victims is set for Monday in Green Bay.

The Run as One Boston Marathon Tribute Run is scheduled for noon on the City Deck. Participants in the run/walk can choose from one-, two- and three-mile routes along the Fox River Trail.

The event is free and open to the public. It is being organized by the Bellin Run, Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, Downtown Green Bay and the city of Green Bay.

Participants are encouraged to wear blue and yellow, the colors affiliated with the Boston Marathon.
