Two bitten by dog in Kimberly

KIMBERLY – Two people were bitten by a dog while attempting to pet it early Sunday morning.

It happened near the intersection of James Street and Maes Avenue in the Village of Kimberly at 4 a.m.

Authorities say a 52-year-old male and 25-year-old female suffered minor injuries when they tried to pet the canine.

Police say the dog is described as a black lab/mix with longer hair on the face. The dog had a dark collar with tags. The sex of the dog is unknown.

The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is seeking this dog so proper medical care may be provided to the victims.
