TOWN OF MORRIS – Shawano County officials say a 23-year-old Appleton man is in custody after firing shots inside of a residence.
It happened late Friday night when police received a call about a man with a gun in a tavern in the Village of Bowler.
Officials say the suspect was gone when they arrived. Early Saturday morning, officials responded to another call about gunshots fired in a residence in the Town of Morris.
Police say they responded with bringing an armored vehicle to the scene.
Authorities say they realized he was the same person who had brandished a firearm at the Village of Bowler tavern Friday night.
Shawano County authorities say the suspect was arrested without incident and detained on suspicion of being armed while intoxicated, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct.
No one was injured in the incident.
