Sixth grader Izzy Harris from the Wisconsin International School joined FOX 11’s Pauleen Le on Good Day Wisconsin to share recipes for bruschetta and BBQ chicken pizza.
Shredded parmesan cheese
Mix tomatoes, onions, olive oil, vinegar, basil, salt and pepper in bowl.
Refrigerate for an hour at least, longer is better.
Cut the bread in slices and toast till golden brown.
Spread some goat cheese on a piece of bread and top with the tomato mixture
Sprinkle some shredded parmesan cheese on top
BBQ Chicken Pizza:
Premade pizza dough
Hickory BBQ sauce
Honey BBQ sauce
Cooked cubed chicken
Red onion diced
Shredded parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese
Mix the two BBQ sauces onto the crust and spread out
Place the red onion and chicken on top then sprinkle the cilantro
If using mozzarella cheese sprinkle all over the top
Cook until the crust is done and the cheese is melted and brown.
If using parmesan cheese wait until the pizza is cooked and then add the parmesan when serving.
