GREEN BAY – Donations from the 22nd annual Help for the Homeless drive will soon be helping people across the area.
Thursday, volunteers began sorting the hygiene products collected last month.
There were 700 collection sites across Northeast Wisconsin.
“The drive was to collect products for the homeless in Brown County so our various shelters are going to get it, transitional programs and agencies that work with at risk like the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul,” said Robin Kuklinski, Help for the Homeless co-chair.
Organizers say products worth more than $1 million have been donated over the last half dozen years.
