Unemployment rates are up across Northeast Wisconsin’s biggest cities.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released its estimates for February.
Jobless rates went up in all of the state’s metro areas. That includes increases of more than three-tenths of a percent in Appleton, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh-Neenah and Green Bay.
On the county level, jobless rates went up in all but three of Wisconsin’s 72 counties. Those figures show Calumet County has the second-lowest rate in the state at 5.2 percent. Dane County had the lowest at 4.6 percent.
