Lots of spring fun at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve


Heckrodt Wetland Reserve in Menasha has lots of family-friendly events planned for spring.

Luke Schiller joined Good Day Wisconsin Tuesday to give a preview of two events, “Mayhem in the Mud” and “Frogtastic Celebration”.

“Mayhem in the Mud” is April 12 from 12 – 1:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required.  The second session is already full.

Kids will get the opportunity to be mud artists, biologists, builders, chefs and explorers.

This activity is great for kids ages 2 – 10.

Coming up May 17 from 1 – 3 p.m. is the “Frogtastic Celebration.”

Kids can make a toad house, play frog lily pad leap, take part in a frog food find scavenger hunt and go on a guided frog hike.
