Sheboygan Police: Woman’s purse forcefully stolen

SHEBOYGAN – Sheboygan police say a man pushed a woman and stole her purse outside a Walgreens early Saturday morning.

It happened around 2:00 a.m. at the store located at 1029 N. 14th Street.

Police say the 48-year-old Sheboygan woman was exiting the Walgreens when the man came up to her, pushed her, and forcefully pulled her purse from her arm.

The woman told police she saw the man standing by a Redbox DVD Rental machine on the west side of the store when she arrived.

When the woman left the store, she was heading toward her vehicle when the suspect asked her a question, then ran towards her, pushed her to the ground and stole her purse.

Police say the man ran around the north side of the building and then headed east.

Officials describe the suspect as light skinned. He is believed to be 5’06”-6′ tall weighing 145-155 lbs. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
