Farr pleads not guilty in puppy abuse case

FOND DU LAC – A woman charged with animal abuse after her son allegedly tossed bleach on to their dogs pleaded not guilty Thursday.

Amanda Farr, 31, faces seven counts, including one felony count of mistreating animals.

According to the criminal complaint, Farr’s son admitted to pouring bleach on two dogs and throwing one of them in a dumpster. The dogs are expected to recover.

Farr pleaded not guilty Friday, according to online court records. No trial date was listed.
