The 2014 Bellin Run isn’t for another 12 weeks, but some runners got a head start on what’s to come.
Training for the 2014 Belling Run got underway Wednesday night.
Free weekly training classes are being offered for participants.
Running experts shared warm-up tips and showed how to properly stretch before the big run.
People could also take part in a long or short run.
Organizers say the weather is a big factor in how many people show up for training.
“Depending on the weather you’ll see different fluctuations in numbers but it’s pretty typical for the most part we always have a very good group that comes out week to week,” said Nate Vandervest, Bellin Health running expert.
This year’s Bellin Run takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 14.
