Overnight a mix of light rain and snow started falling in Green Bay, Appleton and Oshkosh. Areas to the east were mainly receiving rain.
A wintry mix will continue through the early morning hours before changing to all snow. Most of the area will receive 1 to 3 inches of snow with the higher amounts to the northwest. Lakeshore communities will see mostly rain and little snow accumulation.
Today’s high will be in the mid 30s and winds will become brisk out of the northwest at 15 to 25 mph.
Some areas north of Green Bay have been put under a Winter Weather Advisory.
The highest snow totals will be in northern Menominee, northern Marinette, Forest and Florence counties where 3 to 6 inches of snow is possible.
