The Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Fond du Lac has launched a fundraising campaign called “Let THELMA Shine: We’re More than the Arts.”

“This public appeal is aimed at supporters of tourism, economic development, the downtown, and of course, the arts,” executive director Kevin Miller said in a news release. “It is our hope that you realize that THELMA means a great deal to our community and that this is not just THELMA’s time, but Fond du Lac’s time.”

The center hosts indoor and outdoor concerts and films as well as art displays. The nonprofit organization says its leaders have been promoting the center as a regional destination.
