Cheesy Bacon Jalapeno Grits


Ingredients:

2 cups quick cooking grits
2 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, plus some extra for sprinkling on top
1 stick butter
3 teaspoons hot sauce
3 eggs, beaten
6 pieces cooked and crumbled bacon
1 to 2 jalapenos, finely diced (depends how spicy you want it)
1 small can diced green chilies
2 teaspoons Garlic salt
2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook the grits according to the directions on the back of the package. Remove from the heat and add all ingredients and stir well. Spoon into a 9-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Sprinkle extra cheese and parsley on top and serve.
