LeClaire repeats as FRCC player of the year

For the second year in a row Notre Dame’s Allie LeClaire has been named the Fox River Classic Conference girls basketball player of the year.

LeClaire, who averages 20.4 points per game, led Notre Dame to a 15-1 FRCC record, good for second place behind Sheboygan North. LeClaire and Notre Dame are the defending Division 2 state champs and remain alive in the postseason as it plays Pulaski on Thursday in a sectional semifinal.

North’s Eric Spielman was named the coach of the year, while Notre Dame sophomore Olivia Campbell was named the defensive player of the year.
