HOWARD – The first steel tub girder was lifted into place Wednesday in a key part of the U.S. 41 Project in Brown County.
The girder is part of a flyover ramp being constructed at the interchange of U.S. 41 and I-43.
Once finished, the project will look similar to the flyover ramps at U.S. 41 and WIS 29.
DOT officials say the I-43 work will provide a safer and faster system-to-system interchange for drivers.
It’s set to wrap up in December 2016.
