Local FFA chapter hosts toy and craft show

NEW HOLSTEIN – Hundreds turned out Sunday for the annual “FFA Alumni Farm Toy and Craft Show” at New Holstein High School.

The event featured table after table of collectable toy tractors, horses and other items.

Money raised goes to support the school’s Future Farmers of America chapter.

Organizers say it’s a way for alumni to help support a new generation.

“Providing scholarships. We help pay for some of their chapter degrees and leadership events, as well as any of the chapter activities that they might not be able to do otherwise to help further their education with agriculture,” said organizer Sara Bertram.

This was the 20th year for the event.

More than 90 vendors turned out.
