It’s been a long time since we’ve seen warm temperature in Northeast Wisconsin. Here is how long we have been waiting for warmth:
The wait for 40s was broken (albeit briefly) 14 days ago. Feb. 19 was the only day we hit the 40s this winter; the temperature was 41 degrees.
You have to go back 108 days to November for the last time we hit the 50s. on Nov. 17, we reached 58 degrees.
The wait for 60 degree temperatures has been long, at 142 days. Our last 60s was Oct. 14, when the mercury hit 61 degrees.
And 144 days ago, we basked in a warm day when temperatures reached 70 degrees on Oct. 12
