PHOENIX – The Milwaukee Brewers’ newest addition is getting his running in during spring training.

Hank the dog took a practice run with the Brewers’ Racing Sausages mascots Wednesday at Maryvale Baseball Park.

A video posted on the team’s website shows Hank getting off to a slow start, but by the end he seems to have the race figured out. Watch the video below (mobile users click here), which includes interviews with Brewers coaches and players:

Hank has become a sensation since the stray showed up at spring training Feb. 17. The Brewers arranged for veterinary care for the dog, and have been feeding and caring for him since. They have also been working to find his owner, but say even if none can be found, Hank’s days as a stray are over.
