GRAND CHUTE – Fox Valley Technical College paired up manufacturing companies with potential workers Tuesday.
More than 70 manufacturing companies paid a $150 fee to take part in a job fair.
There were opportunities for students to search for employment and for companies to get a line on potential future workers.
Those involved say the networking goes both ways.
“This is great for making connections for our students and the employers, for the employers to get their name out, for our students to understand who the potential employers are in the area and what their needs are,” said Steve Straub, Fox Valley Technical College.
Organizers say more than 100 people registered in the first 15 minutes.
