MANITOWOC – A man who allegedly crashed his car into a cyclist – and then drove home with the cyclist lodged in the windshield – waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty Wednesday.
Jamie Hang is charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety and four other charges for the Jan. 18 incident. No trial date has been set. A settlement conference with the district attorney is set for March 27, according to online court records.
Investigators say he was driving home last month when he hit a man riding a three-wheel bicycle, lodging him in the windshield. The victim, Steven Gove, was not seriously hurt.
