APPLETON – The brother of an Appleton murder suspect is charged for allegedly intimidating witnesses.
Investigators say Hu Lee, 27, told witnesses not to testify and to stop talking about what they saw the night of the shooting.
The shooting was at Luna Lounge in December.
Hu Lee’s brother Chong is accused of killing Joshua Richards.
Court documents also detail alleged phone conversations Chong made to Hu from the jail about witnesses.
On some of those occasions, Hu allegedly set up three-way phone calls so Chong could talk to certain witnesses himself to stop them from testifying.
Hu is being held in the Outagamie County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to return to court Feb. 20.
