Lots of snow on the ground in Wisconsin and the U.S.A.

You will need a yard stick to measure the snow depth in the Northwoods with an average of 20″ to 25″ on the ground.

In the Fox Cities, snow depth varies from between 9″ and 15″.

The Lakeshore has between 10″ and 15″, although parts of Manitowoc county have a minimum of 9″.

There is a lot of snow across the entire nation, too.  Nearly 64 percent of the continental U.S. is snow-covered.  The only states that are snow free are in the southeast.
