DE PERE – The St. Norbert men’s hockey team went 1-1 this past weekend.  That was good enough to take over the top spot in this week’s Division III polls.
The Green Knights (17-3-1) split with Adrian College (17-1-3), who came in to the weekend series with St. Norbert ranked No. 1.  St. Norbert was No. 2.

St. Norbert won Friday’s game 11-1, then dropped Saturday’s match 4-1.

The split landed the Green Knights in the top spot in both the USCHO.com poll and the d3hockey.com poll.  In the coaches poll, St. Norbert got nine first place votes to Adrian’s seven.  In the d3hockey.com poll, St. Norbert got 12 of the top votes to Adrian’s five.
