DETROIT – The Green Bay Phoenix fired early and often from three point range against Detroit Saturday. Kevin Borseth’s club made 13 of 35 attempts from long range in an 84-72 victory over the Titans.
Freshman Mehryn Kraker led the way with a career high 30 points for the Phoenix. Kraker made 7 of 13 attempts from beyond the arc. Breannah Ranger added 12 points for Green Bay. Kaili Lukan and Ellen Edison also tallied double figure points for Green Bay with 12 and 11 respectively. Megan Lukan grabbed a game high 11 rebounds for the Phoenix.
The win improves them to 12-7 overall and 5-2 in Horizon League play. Detroit falls to 3-18 and 0-8 in Horizon play.
