GREEN BAY – They won’t be playing games at Miller Park, but the Green Bay Packers are returning to Milwaukee.

Twenty years after playing its last regular-season game in Wisconsin’s largest city, the organization has announced plans to open a marketing and corporate sales office there. The office, hosting part of the Packers’ partnership services and sales teams, will be located inside MillerCoors headquarters on Highland Ave.

“We are excited to be expanding our marketing and sales efforts in southeast Wisconsin with a Milwaukee-based team,” Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy said in a news release. “We’re looking forward to having a presence in the region’s business community to build upon our existing partner relationships and to explore new partnerships as well. We’re also thrilled to find a Milwaukee home with our long-time partner, MillerCoors.”

The Milwaukee office will service areas ranging from Sheboygan to Kenosha to Madison. Aaron Hart, who has been a sales executive with the organization since 2009, is set to head up the Milwaukee office as manager of sales. The Packers plan to add three new staff members for the office.

The Packers’ Milwaukee office is expected to open in April.
